Dedicated to the memory of Shirley "Gert" Gould
On Saturday 18th March 2017, our lives changed forever when a very special lady was taken suddenly from our family and our hearts were broken.
Shirley was a loving Mother, Nana, Great Nana and Friend to many. She was the one person we could always turn to for advice, support, help, cwtches, a chat over a cuppa and sometimes even a telling off if it was needed!. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her and absolutely nothing you discussed would surprise or shock her and she always had the answer.
Not only was she our Mum and Nana, she was our rock; our soulmate and most of all she was our best friend.
We will always cherish the memories that we have of our time together and they will forever remain in our hearts.
As there was no set charity close to Shirley's heart we have decided that any donations following her funeral be made to the BLF. Shirley suffered a pulmonary embolism during the last moments of her life and we have family members with COPD and Asthma therefore any donations which will help towards research in to lung problems are gratefully received.
